Paul Rahimian manages a national debt fund that provides construction financing to ground-up real estate development projects. He founded Parkview Financial in early 2009 and has since originated hundreds of commercial and residential loans, always plying his trademark, hands-on management style. He has been widely recognized as an industry pioneer as he was one of the first to offer complete integration of loan origination and servicing under one roof. Prior to becoming a lender, Paul was a third-generation real estate developer and general contractor. Between 1988 and 2009, he successfully completed over $350 million in commercial and residential projects. His vast expertise and knowledge in the construction and development industry has benefited both Parkview and its borrowers.​ Paul received his bachelor’s degree from UCLA in Business/Economics and his Juris Doctorate from USC.

Jaime Zadra is a Managing Director with PGIM Real Estate. In this role, she is responsible for managing originations for the Western region through a broad range of the company’s commercial mortgage products, including the General Account, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and core-plus financing. Additionally, Jaime has portfolio management responsibilities, including pricing and credit authority, for the company’s core mortgage portfolios in the Bay Area, Portland, and Seattle. Jaime is located in Los Angeles. Since joining the company in 2004, Jaime has originated more than $10 billion of loans across all property types and all of PGIM Real Estate’s capital sources. Jaime was named as a Managing Director in 2019. Earlier, she served as a Principal and for 10 years was the originations team lead for Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. Jaime started her career at PGIM Real Estate as an Associate covering relationships in San Diego and Los Angeles. Jaime earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in biology/public policy analysis from Pomona College and her Master of Business Administration degree in finance and real estate from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. She is a member of the ULI LA Capital Markets Council, a WLI Circle, and the UCLA Real Estate Alumni Group Endowment Circle.

Chris Allman is a Principal & Partner in the Capital Markets – Debt Group at CIM and serves on CIM’s Investment and Credit Committees. Prior to joining CIM in 2013, Mr. Allman was a Vice President at Thayer Lodging Group/Brookfield Hotels, Vice President in Capmark’s Hospitality Industry Division and an Investment Performance Analyst at Cambridge Associates. He earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Environmental Science from Virginia Tech and a Master of Business Administration degree from S.C. Johnson School of Business at Cornell University. CIM Group, LLC manages approximately $8.1 billion of illiquid and liquid credit assets. Our credit platforms are focused on making transitional bridge and construction loans, on all major CRE and infrastructure asset classes, for high quality projects located throughout the United States and Western Europe. Brent Wagner is a Managing Director of Capital Markets and Syndication, operating out of the firm’s Los Angeles office. Prior to his current role with ACORE Capital, Mr. Wagner was part of the originations team at Starwood Property Trust (ticker STWD), a public mortgage REIT that is externally managed by Starwood Capital. During his time at Starwood, Mr. Wagner also acted as an underwriter on many transactions ranging from $25mm - $750mm, and assisted on senior debt syndication efforts. Mr. Wagner evaluated, structured, and negotiated new loans in addition to conducting due diligence and credit work. Prior to joining Starwood Property Trust, Mr. Wagner worked at Countrywide Financial Corporation’s commercial real estate finance business that was launched in 2004. Countrywide Commercial Real Estate Finance experience included originations and underwriting for CMBS and balance sheet loans, as well as capital markets / pricing where he was responsible for pricing and structuring whole loan, mezzanine, and B-note investment opportunities. Mr. Wagner attended the University of Pennsylvania, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a minor in Urban Real Estate and Development co-sponsored by the School of Arts & Sciences and Wharton.

Bradley Ross (Brad) is Managing Director and Head of Originations at Parkview Financial. Brad is based out of the Los Angeles headquarters, where he leads our nationwide team of originators and manages the investment process. In addition to helping grow the portfolio, Brad focuses on instilling best practices, strengthening borrower and broker relationships, and expanding Parkview’s standing and participation in the marketplace. Prior to joining Parkview, Brad was a Vice President at Madison Realty Capital, where he established and oversaw the company’s Los Angeles office. He has also held positions at Calmwater Capital, Karlin Real Estate, and Major Properties. Brad holds degrees from the UCLA Anderson School of Management (M.B.A.) and the University of Michigan (B.A.). He is also a licensed California real estate broker. Brad is an active member of the UCLA Ziman Center Endowment Circle, UCLA mentorship program, and ULI GROW. He is also an emeritus board member and former head of membership for the UCLA Real Estate Alumni Group.

Emily Feder’s background and significant experience in community development gives her a comprehensive perspective on real estate law. Emily’s practice focuses on all types of real estate transactions, from acquisition and disposition to leasing, and finance. Prior to joining Allen Matkins, Emily was a vice president in the community development banking group at a leading national bank, where she sourced, structured, and led origination and closing of new markets tax credit transactions for the Western United States. She also previously practiced in tax credit finance and syndication in Washington, D.C., and California. Emily began her professional career as a teacher, and currently serves on the Associates Board for Teach for America, a non-profit organization working to combat education inequality. In addition, Emily is a member of the Junior Committee for the Phase One Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Phase I and Phase II clinical cancer research, innovative education and treatment programs, and funding leaders in the scientific and medical community.

Josh Katzin is Chief Investment Officer of AECOM Capital, where he is focused on sourcing, structuring, and negotiating complex development and value-add projects. Previously Mr. Katzin was a Managing Director at ACORE Capital, a leading commercial real estate finance company, where he was responsible for the origination of transitional and construction debt in the Western U.S. Prior to joining ACORE, Mr. Katzin was Vice President of Acquisitions at Starwood Capital Group, where he sourced and executed direct commercial real estate acquisitions and joint ventures across asset types. Mr. Katzin holds an A.B. in economics from Harvard College, a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and an M.B.A from Harvard Business School. He is a member of the California Bar and the Urban Land Institute.

Mr. Baraghoush serves as a Managing Director at Pacific Urban Investors, LLC. In this role he is responsible for identifying and evaluating joint venture equity opportunities for value-add and development projects. Prior to Pacific, Mr. Baraghoush was a Vice President at Ares Management responsible for West Coast investments on behalf of public vehicles, separate accounts, and closed-end funds. He began his career at Bank of America in its Global Corporate Investment Banking division. Mr. Baraghoush holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with a minor in Accounting, from UCLA. He also serves as a Board Member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and is an active member of the Make-A-Wish Real Estate Chapter.

Matt Bear founded Bear Real Estate Advisors, LLC in 2018 with one goal – to cater to investors looking for personalized service and real world, battle-tested acquisition and disposition advice. A real estate and finance business leader with a rich history of nearly 30 years of transactional, development and advisory experience, including 10 years of principal investing and retail real estate development, Matt’s experience covers many of the major markets of the United States with clients and key business relationships that span across the real estate, finance and private equity sectors. Matt is an avid reader, a frequent blogger, a formerly good golfer, and an aspiring guitar player. He and his wife, Kelly, have been married for more than 20 years and are the proud parents of two beautiful, smart teenage girls who offer constant challenges and perplexity to their life, as well as an immeasurable amount of joy.

Ms. Zoumberakis is a shareholder at Buchalter and has been a transactional attorney for over 15 years. Her practice covers a wide range of corporate, partnership and general securities matters, with a focus on real estate and private equity funds. She counsels on a broad range of legal and compliance issues faced by sponsors, including fund structure, portfolio investments, co-investment structures, and internal governance and compliance. Ms. Zoumberakis earned her J.D. at NYU School of Law and received her B.A. at the University of California, Berkeley.

Martin Muoto is the Founder and Managing Partner of the “SoLa Impact” family of social impact real estate funds. A professional investor and entrepreneur for over 20 years, Martin has been successful at leveraging private capital to drive positive social change. Martin began investing in multifamily real estate in South Central Los Angeles, Compton, Watts, and other neglected communities a decade before these areas became designated Opportunity Zones. SoLa Impact’s $100 million Opportunity Zone (OZ) Fund is one of the few OZ Funds that has already been actively deploying capital in LA’s OZs. Martin was previously an operating executive at several technology companies and a venture capital partner at Accretive Partners and General Atlantic Partners in New York. Martin immigrated from West Africa and graduated with Honors from the Wharton School of Business and the University of Pennsylvania.

Chris Fraley is Chief Investment Officer for RealtyMogul, overseeing underwriting, closing and asset management for the firm’s debt and equity investments. Chris has over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, including sourcing transactions and negotiating complex joint venture equity partnerships. Prior to joining RealtyMogul, Chris was a Partner of Rockwood Capital, a privately held real estate investment and advisory firm managing more than $8.3 billion of equity commitments from investors. From 1999 through 2011, Chris was responsible for acquisitions and asset management on the East Coast Chris served on the Investment Committees of multiple funds, and was member of the Research and Strategy Committee and of the Management Committee. Chris is also an Advisor to Forge Development Partners, a San Francisco based affordable housing developer with $500M under development. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Brookwood Group and an Advisor to RealBlocks. Chris remains an active voice in the LGBTQ community, having previously served as Vice Chair the Board of Directors of StartOut, as well as the Board of GLAAD.

Roshan Sonthalia is Managing Director and Senior Counsel at Turner Impact Capital, where he works across Turner Impact Capital’s various funds focusing on investor relations, acquisitions and asset management. Roshan has over 18 years of real estate industry experience, the majority of which has involved investments in socially impactful assets. Prior to Turner Impact Capital, Roshan was counsel at Canyon Capital Realty Advisors LLC, working across their various real estate funds to coordinate matters related to investors, originations, acquisitions and asset management. He began his legal career as a real estate attorney with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in their real estate practice in Los Angeles, working on a broad range of transactional matters with clients that included private equity funds, developers, buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, borrowers and lenders. Roshan is a graduate of UCLA (B.A., Economics and History, J.D., and M.B.A).

Kate leads the origination team at Nuveen Green Capital. Her team works with building owners, developers, contractors, and other industry professionals – to improve their business returns through the use of C-PACE. Kate works to combine her experience in real estate loan financings with the mission of bringing clean energy solutions to commercial property owners. Prior to joining Nuveen Green Capital in 2019, she spent the previous twelve years working on a variety of matters including the representation of lenders and borrowers in senior and mezzanine loan financings, as well as buyers and sellers in real estate transactions. Kate received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law

Matthew Gorman is an Investment Professional with BentallGreenOak in Los Angeles. Since joining the firm in 2011, he has been actively involved in the underwriting, due diligence, structuring and asset management of the Firm’s U.S. investments. Matthew currently spends the majority of his time sourcing and executing opportunities in Southern California and the Southwest region for all BGO’s equity products. Prior to joining GreenOak, Matthew worked as an investment banking analyst within the real estate investment banking group at Barclays Capital. Since 1990, CJ has been a leading investment expert on alternative real estate assets including healthcare, cold storage logistics, structured parking, media infrastructure, and Qualified Opportunity Zone development. CJ is on the Board of Advisors for the Economic Innovation Group, the bipartisan council responsible for proposing the legislation that created Qualified Opportunity Zones. A few of CJ’s real estate career highlights include: Development of a 400-acre site with Rockefeller Group Properties for the expansion of their renowned International Trade Center in Mount Olive, New Jersey. The creation and disposition of a $300MM healthcare real estate portfolio yielding over 23.2% IRR for its family office investors. Creation and development of the award-winning media infrastructure known as the Gun For Hire ("GFH") Production Centers. He conceived, designed, and built GFH’s 700,000+ square feet of digital media centers in New York, Miami, Vancouver, Toronto, Austin, and Los Angeles. His New York center earned him the 1998 Crain’s Magazine Small Business Award The Brownfield redevelopment of 13 waterfront acres in the NYC borough of Queens, the largest privately owned waterfront parcel in NYC. This project achieved 3X returns for its investors in four years. CJ speaks at international conferences on the topics of alternative asset investing. He holds a B.A. from Tufts University, a General Course Degree from London School of Economics, and a degree from Harvard Business School.

Parker Champion is the Chief Operating Officer and a Partner at Champion Real Estate Company. Los Angeles-based Champion Real Estate Company was founded in 1987 and has consistently achieved annual above-market returns by identifying and maximizing niche opportunities before its competitors. Parker runs the daily operations while heading Champion’s high yield and value add cash flow investment activities. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Policy, Planning and Development and a Master in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and a member of the National Multi-family Housing Council and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Henry Manoucheri’s successful real estate career spans over 30 years. Henry began his career at Marcus & Millichap in 1985 and became one of their top brokers, being recognized throughout California as well as nationally. He has brokered over $500,000,000 worth of transactions in apartment buildings, office buildings, industrial properties, shopping centers and land. After leaving M&M, Henry launched his own privately held acquisitions business, as principal. In less than six months the number of apartments owned grew 200% from 400 to 1,200 units. Having demonstrated a detailed knowledge of acquisitions, operations and construction, Henry was able to partner with Bank of America to acquire and renovate a large apartment community in Carlsbad, CA. The asset was acquired at a purchase price of $50,700,000 with $10,500,000 in equity from Bank of America and $1,200,000 of equity from high net-worth investors. After successfully renovating the property and enhancing day-to-day operations, Henry sold the property four years later for $78,000,000 generating a profit of nearly $9,500,000 for himself and his investors. From this point forward a career of buying significant, well located apartment communities in Southern California began, acquiring 100+ unit properties throughout Los Angeles, Inland Empire, Ventura and San Diego County. Trisail of Bank of America and Urdang Advisors completed 10 large transactions with Henry over a successful 10 year relationship with acquisitions ranging from 200 to 450 units on transactions of $20 million to $70 million. This provided the economic platform for Henry to grow the portfolio to over 4,000 units. Additionally, Henry continued improving and refinancing smaller apartment communities, delivering 400 – 800% total returns to his investors over time. Henry, supported by research and analysis, sensed a changing marketplace and began selling select assets at record prices and cap rates from 2006 to 2008. The vast majority of sales were not used in trade, but rather to fund future acquisitions during the next down-cycle and to provide returns to investors. With over 30 years of experience in the business, Mr Manoucheri has been able to successfully navigate the company through difficult times by focusing on value-add propositions, detailed operations, and favorable financing opportunities, thereby profiting even during down cycles. This devotion to discipline, hard work , continuous examination of operating results and a hands-on approach has enabled Henry to deliver an average return of 22% percent annually across numerous assets, based on cash flow, and a return of over 60% per annum on assets sold. Currently the company is engaged in expanding its current holdings by acquiring new, value-add opportunities from various sellers, troubled borrowers, and financial institutions alike. Henry holds a BS in Finance and Real Estate from Cal State, Northridge, CA.

Srinivas Yalamanchili is a Principal at Positive Investments, a diversified real estate investment and property management company founded in 1976 and based in Los Angeles, CA. He has extensive experience in the acquisition, financing and management of apartment buildings which is Positive’s focus, but also has experience in other property types including industrial, office and hotels. Positive is also now beginning construction on their first new construction multifamily development. Srinivas holds a Master of Real Estate Development and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He has also been a licensed California Real Estate Broker since 2004.

Priyesh is responsible for originating new investment opportunities as well managing the overall bridge lending platform for Hankey Capital inclucing originations, underwritting, and servicing. Priyesh is the managing principal and member of the firm’s investment committee. Over a nearly 20-year career in commercial real estate investment, Priyesh has worked for real estate private equity groups like the Carlyle Group and CityView as well as real estate family offices like the Hankey Group, the Fifteen Group, and Stuho. Priyesh has direct involvement in over 150 investments with a combined capitalization exceeding $3 billion. Priyesh is proficient in land entitlements, multifamily residential, retail, and hotel property types. His investment experience spans most metro markets nationally but has most recently focused on California coastal and metro submarkets. Priyest holds a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California (MRED 2012) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Irvine (2002).

Mr. Grossman is a Senior Managing Director at Meridian Capital Group. He opened the firm’s San Diego office in May 2011 charged with expanding the company’s presence throughout the western and southwestern states. In his 10+ years leading the west coast for Meridian, Mr. Grossman has built a team that has originated and closed more than $12 billion of debt and equity transactions spanning more than 600 loans across primary and esoteric asset types. Prior to opening Meridian’s San Diego office, Mr. Grossman was a Structured Finance Analyst Fitch Ratings, a Principal at Mission Peak Capital, and worked in Meridian’s New York City office where he closed in excess of $3 billion. Mr. Grossman attended NYU, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management.
