Tim Downey is the founder and CEO of Southern Land Company. He serves as the visionary and driving force behind the concepts and designs that distinguish Southern Land Company’s communities. Tim’s entrepreneurship began in college when he created a property maintenance business. This experience inspired Tim’s three-decade career in developing neighborhoods and vibrant commercial districts that adhere to traditional design principles and generate community interaction. Modeled after Walt Disney Imagineering’s desire to inspire creativity, innovation and interaction in the company and across projects, Tim’s vertically integrated business model enables direct communication between architecture, horticulture, construction and planning professionals. The result has been a growing portfolio of communities that are redefining their markets.

Mr. Tirrill is the Managing Partner of SWH Residential Partners, LLC. He has twenty-seven years of experience in apartment investing, development, construction and operations. For eight years, he served as President and COO of Schaedle Worthington Hyde Properties, LP. He joined Schaedle Worthington Residential in 1993 as a Development Associate and became a Partner in 1995. Mr. Tirrill has provided asset management, due diligence and development/construction management services to clients that include real estate investment funds, individual investors and family investment partnerships. Mr. Tirrill began his career as a property manager for Jacques-Miller, Inc. and while there specialized in turnarounds of distressed apartment communities. He lives in Atlanta and is active in the community serving as an Elder at Trinity Presbyterian Church and a member of Georgia Organics Seed and Soil Society. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He and his wife, Greer, have two children.

Endeavor Principal Nelson Crowe is responsible for leading the company’s multifamily acquisition and development team, overseeing site selection, entitlements, design, consultant coordination, construction, project capitalization and asset management. Currently, Nelson is working on the development of multifamily and mixed-use projects in Austin, Nashville, Dallas Fort Worth, Salt Lake City and Denver totaling 13,000 units and nearly $3 billion in total capitalization. Prior to joining Endeavor in 2016, Nelson spent eight years at Forestar Group, where he served as Vice President of Multifamily. In 2010, he was a founding member of the organization’s multifamily group, which developed and/or managed more than 4,000 units in Nashville, Austin, Dallas, Denver, Charlotte and Houston, with a total capitalization of $600 million. Nelson previously worked for Crow Holdings, a private equity firm that focuses on direct real estate investment through equity funds for the Trammell Crow family and its capital partners. While there, he worked on the capital placement of an $850 million equity fund. Chari Lewis is Greystar’s Director of Real Estate for properties in the Southeast Region, providing support and leadership for the Tennessee and Alabama Regional Property Managers. Chari joined the Greystar team in 2017 and currently oversees operations for 20 assets and over 6,000 units. Prior to joining Greystar Chari worked for Milestone Management Company, Lincoln Property Company and most recently for Evergreen Real Estate as Chief Operating Officer. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team having managed properties of all ages, classes and in several markets. She is an accomplished property management professional who has worked in the apartment industry since 2000 and has been awarded several top honors for her professional service to the industry. Chari is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®), having recently served as 2016 President for the Greater Nashville Chapter. She is also a member of the National Apartment Association, currently serving as the Leadership Lyceum Chair for the Greater Nashville Chapter where she was the 2009 Chapter President. Chari is a graduate of the NAA Leadership Lyceum Program as well as the NAA Advanced Instructor Training and holds the following designations: Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), Certified Apartment Supervisor (CAPS) and Certified Property Manager (CPM®). Chari lives in Lebanon with her husband Mark and son William.

Brian Oates is Managing Director of Development at Pollack Shores Real Estate Group, and leads all of the firm’s new development projects. His duties include managing the division’s construction and development teams from the pre-construction phase through lease-up of completed projects. Previously, Brian was a Project Developer at Pollack Shores, where he completed over 2,000 units at a cost of more than $400 million. Today, as the development team’s leader, Brian now manages active projects of more than 3,500 units that total more than $1.5 billion in value. Before joining Pollack Shores, Brian led project teams at a gas and oil company in the acquisition, entitlement and development of new convenience and gas locations in Georgia and Florida. He also has over eight years of experience underwriting and developing residential communities across the Southeast with other development firms. Brian earned a bachelor’s of science in management from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a concentration in finance and land development. An active member of ULI Atlanta, Brian graduated from its Center for Leadership program in 2018. Brian enjoys following local Atlanta sports teams, playing and coaching soccer and spending time with his son, Samuel.

Vincent Lefler is a National Director in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Southeast Multifamily Capital Markets Group. Mr.Lefler established the Nashville office where he is responsible for advising in stitutional and private clients in the disposition of multifamily assets across the Southeast. He primarily focuses on secondary and tertiary markets in Tennessee, Alabama and Kentucky. Since moving to Nashville in 2011, Vincent Lefler has handled $2billion in multifamily transactions and over 15,500+ units. In 2015 & 2016, Vince was awarded NAIOP Broker of the Year, NAIOP Sale of the Year, and CoStar Power Broker. Prior joining to Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr.Lefler was a Vice President with Apartment Realty Advisors(ARA), a leading national multifamily brokerage firm. During his tenure with ARA, Mr.Lefler helped close approximately $1 billion in multifamily transactions and over 10,000 units in various Southeast markets, including: Nashville, Memphis, Birmingham, Savannah, Macon, Augusta, Columbia and Charleston. Prior to ARA, Mr.Lefler worked as a Senior Advisor with IBM Software Group. During his tenure, Mr.Lefler consulted in the Banking & Finance industry for five years. Prior to 2000, Mr.Lefler worked with Coca-Cola Company and McDonalds as an in-house Marketing Consultant in New York City, Boston and Chicago.

As President & CEO, Crawford carries the full range of responsibilities typically associated with such a position. Reporting to the board of directors, Crawford’s responsibilities are grouped in five major areas: organization leadership and management, strategic planning, resource development, management of loan portfolio and lending operations and community external relations. Marshall’s leadership also ensures support for community building and housing development to residents to ensure the revitalization of communities. Marshall joins The Housing Fund after serving 16 months as President of Housing for Community Ventures in Lexington, KY. Also, he provided 13 years of service to NeighborWorks America, where he served as the Senior Director of the Southern Region in Atlanta, GA. He served in several capacities, including as a Relationship Manager brokering resources, and serving as a trusted advisor for building and sustaining nonprofit organizations in Tennessee, Kentucky, and West Virginia. He facilitated and leveraged key relationships between NeighborWorks America and strategic partners, such as state housing finance agencies. Before joining NeighborWorks, Marshall worked for the Office of Thrift Supervision as a safety and soundness bank examiner in the Southeast Region. His banking career started in a management training program for SunTrust Bank in Nashville, Tennessee. He later relocated to Atlanta, GA and worked as a mortgage loan officer with several banks. In 1992, he was honorable discharged from the United States Army after serving five years while being stationed in Germany and at Fort Knox, KY. In May 2016, Marshall completed an Executive Leadership Certification at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. He received a degree in finance from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky and a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in nonprofit management from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Ari Abramson is a Vice President of Acquisitions for Continental Realty Corporation. CRC, headquartered in Baltimore and founded in 1960, is a full-service commercial real estate investment company which owns and manages a diverse portfolio of apartment communities featuring nearly 10,000 units and retail centers consisting of more than 3.5 million square feet of space. In his role, Ari focuses on multifamily acquisitions and dispositions throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions, manages broker/owner relationships, and oversees the underwriting and due diligence process. In Baltimore, Ari lead CRC’s acquisition of Browns Wharf, a 104,000 sf adaptive re-use waterfront property in Fells Point. Prior to joining CRC, he held positions at Alex. Brown Realty, Stifel Nicolaus, Townsend Capital, and Legg Mason. Ari has a B.A. in Business and Economics from Muhlenberg College and a M.S. in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University, Carey Business School. He is active on numerous community councils and committees focused on real estate in Baltimore.

Neil Beldock has over 30 years of experience as a real estate finance professional. Over those 30+ years Neil has held positions at Citigroup, Coast Federal Bank of California, Independence Bank of Los Angeles, Family Savings Bank of Los Angeles, Hamburg Savings Bank of New York, Interbay Funding and Velocity Commercial Capital. Neil has held executive and senior level management positions covering loan originations, loan operations, loan servicing, secondary marketing, loan securitization and joint venture operations. Neil is also a published author having written articles for numerous mortgage industry publications including the Scotsman Guide, Commercial Mortgage Insight, The Mortgage Press and National Mortgage Broker Magazine. Currently, Neil serves as a Senior Executive at Pender Capital Funding in Dallas, Texas.

Based out of Nashville, Tennessee, Stephanie Sawyer Fletcher is a Vice President in the company’s Capital Markets group. Ms. Fletcher has nearly ten years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and is responsible for securing financing for owners and developers of all commercial real estate asset classes throughout the Southeast. Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Ms. Fletcher was Managing Partner of Sawyer Fletcher Consulting, a boutique equity financing firm focused on raising capital for commercial real estate owners and operators of multifamily, office, retail, and industrial properties. She previously worked for Equitable Trust, a private investment advisor, as a vice president in the business development group. There, she brought over $120 million of new business to the firm. Ms. Fletcher attended the University of Tennessee where she earned both a Bachelor of Science in human ecology and a Master of Business Administration.
