Frank holds a BA from Hofstra University, a JD from Harvard Law School and an MBA from Georgia State. Mr. Rivas oversees the acquisition and disposition of assets, market feasibility, site selection, project design, permitting, construction management, and project financing. Mr. Rivas formed and oversees Allied’s first private equity fund launched in 2013 to develop multi-family assets in the major metropolitan areas of Texas. Mr. Rivas’ professional affiliations include being a member of the National Multi-Housing Council (NMHC) Emerging Leaders Committee, the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the Houston Apartment Association (HAA). Mr. Williams is a Senior Vice President with KeyBank Real Estate Capital Markets in Denver, Colorado. He currently heads the multifamily loan production team for the Central (Texas/Rocky Mountain) and Southeast Regions for KeyBank. He manages a team which is responsible for all multifamily loan production in this region, with an emphasis on agency lending (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA), as well as life company placement and CMBS. Mr. Williams has 15 years of diversified real estate banking experience, with over 8 years of experience at KeyBank. Prior to his current assignment, he was responsible all permanent multifamily loan production for KeyBank’s Rocky Mountain based clients. Mr. Williams began his career with KeyBank as a balance sheet banker based at the firm’s Cleveland, Ohio headquarters. Prior to joining KeyBank, Mr. Williams was with Realty Funding Group L.L.C., a Denver based real estate acquisition and investment banking company. He was also with Studley, Inc., a commercial real estate firm in New York and Denver where he worked with the Capital Markets Group. He was responsible for the negotiation and restructuring of over a million square feet of office space. Mr. Williams began his career in the early 1990’s as an Investment Banker, first with JP Morgan Chase and then Salomon Smith Barney in the San Francisco Bay Area. Yardi Matrix is a U.S. multifamily asset support toolset for originating and underwriting investment transactions. Matrix also provides market and institutional research leveraging underlying property-level detail of 80 U.S. markets, 57,000 properties and more than 11 million units. Matrix will cover 100 markets by 2Q15. From 2002-2009 Adler was chief property operations officer at AIMCO, overseeing luxury, value-add, student, military, senior, office/retail mixed use, and affordable housing properties valued at $4 billion. He co-developed and co-founded AIMCO’s portfolio investment and capital markets strategies, and was a regular speaker and contributor to industry conferences and publications. In 2009 Adler formed a consulting firm and acted as CEO/COO for several sponsor and investor platforms in the student, military, senior, single-family and rental housing industries in the U.S. and Canada. He developed and executed investment strategy, asset management, private market equity and debt capital funding, and debt renegotiation transactions. From 1990 to 2000 Mr. Adler was a vice president at Progressive Insurance, developing the Progressive consumer brand, establishing the corporate marketing department, and driving a ten-fold increase in revenues. Since joining Jordan & Skala as a design engineer in 1994, Principal Andy Smith has led the HVAC department in Charlotte, pioneered the Dallas office, and has overseen the establishment of the Austin, Houston, and Vegas offices. As Regional Director for Jordan & Skala’s West Coast operations, Andy provides executive oversight for a staff of nearly 60 people within the Austin, Dallas, Houston, and Vegas offices. He is ultimately responsible for all staffing, operations and project management activities for the West coast. With experience in contracting and sales as well as designing and managing projects, Andy’s career experience includes projects for the mixed-use/multi-family, retail, hospitality, commercial, data, distribution, and educational markets. With projects ranging in size from a drive-through hamburger stand to a planned 2,000 residence retirement community and over two dozen United States Green Building Council (USGBC) projects in his portfolio, Andy confidently oversees projects of any size and complexity. Relentless in his pursuit of innovation, in 2003 Andy became the Jordan & Skala’s first LEED Associated Professional. He soon became instrumental in the establishment of Jordan & Skala’s Energy Services Discipline which provides sustainability consulting, program coordination, and education services.
