Anthony Wanger serves as President of IO. In this capacity, Wanger directs the Company’s expansion and acquisition activities, oversees key transactions and the Company’s Legal, Ecosystem, Real Estate, and Risk Management functions. Wanger has led IO’s DCaaS expansion and development across the world. Prior to his involvement with IO, Wanger co-founded and managed Sterling Network Services, LLC, a leading enterprise data center services provider. Earlier in his career, Wanger was a private equity investor and served as Senior Vice President at Sterling Partners where he directed a variety of investments and transactions for the firm. Wanger graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Emory University and a Juris Doctor degree from the Boston University School of Law.​

Mike's responsibilities include technical design and construction management, facility value and performance engineering, Supply Chain management and commissioning and ongoing operations of Yahoo's production data center infrastructure. Yahoo orders, install and support the IT infrastructure across Yahoo, requiring approximately 100,000,000 continuous watts of critical power. The Data Center Engineering and Construction team falls within the Data Center Operations group and is responsible for Yahoo’s global data center strategy as well as the design, build, and fit-out of Yahoo’s state of the art Data Centers. It is this group’s goal to improve the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of Yahoo’s Data Centers by developing and adopting new and innovative solutions in the design and core infrastructure of our buildings.

With nearly 20 years of experience in driving growth and innovation for technology and telecommunications enterprises, Tony Rossabi joined TierPoint as EVP and Chief Revenue Officer in May 2017. Tony is responsible for overseeing revenue growth, managing the daily operations of TierPoint’s national sales organization, and contributing to strategic planning, reporting to Chairman and CEO Jerry Kent. Prior to joining TierPoint, Tony served as Managing Director for Digital Realty Trust’s colocation and connectivity business unit. Eli D. Scher is the founder of New Continuum Holdings Corporation, and serves as its Chairman and CEO. He is an entrepreneur with a broad array of investing and operating experience. Prior to New Continuum he worked as an analyst at prominent New York hedge funds where he analyzed corporate securities. Previously, Mr. Scher co-founded and served as CEO of GSME Capital Partners, a private, early stage investment partnership, and GSME Acquisition Partners I, a publicly traded acquisition vehicle. Additionally, he was Chief Financial Officer and director of MCG Group a Shanghai-based LED-advertising company, and was the co-founder, President and CFO of Fundamental Films. Sean Farney has over 20 years of information technology, data center, infrastructure and networking experience at some of the finest technology and consulting firms in the world. ​Mr. Farney recently served as Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Ubiquity Critical Environments, a real estate-powered technology company and wholly-owned subsidiary of Sears Holdings Corporation. It leveraged its vast portfolio of over 240,000,000 square feet of property across 2000+ locations to deploy and develop datacenter, wireless, solar, and other geo-dependent technologies. ​Sean came to Ubiquity from Interactive Data, where he was responsible for managing the company's global low-latency, high-frequency trading Managed Services practice across 17 datacenters. Interactive Data was acquired by Silver Lake Partners in 2012. ​Previously, Mr. Farney served as an executive at Microsoft and was responsible for the construction and operations of their award winning 700,000sf, 120MW, Chicago data center. While there, he was awarded the Uptime Institute’s prestigious GEIT Award for his work deploying 100,000+ servers in datacenter Containers. He and his team were the first in the industry to develop process and procedures for the installation and operation of Containers at scale. Prior to Microsoft, Sean spent 10 years in global technology leadership roles at The Boston Consulting Group. ​He has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Inc., Fast Company, Data Center Knowledge, The Chicago Tribune, Crain’s, Information Week, and others. Patrick David

Patrick David is the founder and CEO of COLO-D. His responsibilities include the development of the overall vision, strategic planning and execution of the company’s ambitious business plan. In addition, Patrick works diligently to maintain COLO-D’s reputation for excellence with clients and partners. Patrick David has been involved in the data center industry for over 15 years and is a pioneer in the development of large-scale data centers in Canada. Prior to founding COLO-D, Patrick worked for one of the very first companies to offer data center colocation solutions in Canada. Kevin Rubin is the president and COO of Stratosphere Networks and Converged Communication Systems. He holds a bachelor of business administration, marketing and finance from Loyola University in Chicago. Additionally, he has earned various technical engineering certifications from companies such as Avaya, Cisco and Microsoft. Through his earlier work in the telecom industry, Kevin met Steve Melchiorre, the current CEO of Stratosphere and CCS. In 2003, they co-founded CCS, which produced $116,000 in revenue during its first year. Since then, the company has seen its revenue grow every year, increasing by an average of 40 percent on an annual basis and exceeding $8 million by 2015. As former EVP and later CTO of Sears Holdings, Dr. Phil Shelley has years experience in helping move a large iconic brand into a near real-time model where digital engagement with customers has become the norm. Like many companies, the Sears IT landscape was fragmented, duplicative, heavy use of ETL and batch-oriented. Moving the people, process and systems to align with faster delivery of services, solutions and collapsing systems into single points of truth was a major focus of the CTO role. The use of Open-Source and Big Data technologies was a major enabler for the transformation, along with re-alignment of teams, new skills and data governance. Phil led IT Operations for one of the largest retailers in the world, including Data Centers, Data Warehousing, Data Integration, Enterprise Architecture and System Engineering. Phil took his organization through major changes, such as real-time omni-channel system architecture, design, implementation and operations, including single view of customer, market basket, inventory and loyalty systems. Sears enjoyed significant recognition for the innovations in these areas. In addition to the CTO role, in 2012 Phil was appointed CEO of a Sears startup in Big Data technologies. In 2013, Phil left Sears to form Datametica a Analytics and Data solutions firm, helping companies design and implement Data Management and Analytics initiatives. Phil and the DataMetica team use their significant experience to speed Analytics and Data efforts in client companies. John Regan

With more than 30 years of experience in information technology and facilities infrastructure space, John Regan has been instrumental in the business development and execution of acquisitions helping drive the success of Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT. He serves as Senior Vice President Data Center Acquisitions, Lead Technology Officer, for Carter Validus Advisors, LLC and Carter Validus Advisors II, LLC. Mr. Regan worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP for 18 years as National Director of Data Center Services from 2004 to 2010, National Director of Network Services from 2002 to 2004 and National Director of Infrastructure Delivery from 1999 to 2002. His experience has included a broad spectrum of responsibilities from systems, networking and facilities infrastructure design, through implementation and operations, to sales and technical sales support. He led a team of technology and facilities infrastructure engineers and project managers through the execution of more than 26 million square feet of real estate projects. This included spanning renovations, restacks, retrofits, consolidations and new build outs of Coopers & Lybrand and PricewaterhouseCoopers technology and facilities infrastructure projects driving technology as a key business enabler to marketplace success. His extensive experience culminated with the achievement of building a state-of-the-art LEED Gold certified Mission Critical facility commissioned in early 2010. Mr. Regan is an expert in business continuity and disaster recovery responsible for PricewaterhouseCoopers Disaster Recovery program and achieving credentialed status as a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP). Prior to PricewaterhouseCoopers, he was Principal Software Specialist at Digital Equipment Corporation from 1983 to 1993. Mike Hammett​​

CIO - MidWest Internet Exchange (MidWest-IX)

Mike Hammett is a 10 year veteran of the telecommunications industry. His focus has largely centered on small ISPs where his contributions to the industry netted him the Black Tie award from the Wireless Internet Service Providers Association at their annual event in 2013. His passion for the industry was kindled by the lack of available broadband at his northern Illinois home and the birth of Intelligent Computing Solutions in 2004 to solve that need. Mike’s close following of the larger telecommunications space has led to a unique set of resources and skills in not only finding non-traditional sources of Internet bandwidth, but how to cost effectively increase an ISP’s bandwidth quality. Mike ignites conversation amongst other operators and the vendors that cater to the small networks regarding adding feature sets or deployment methods employed by the large operators, but tailored to the needs of the small companies. Recently, Mike has leveraged this “bigger picture” knowledge he has built and relationships he has forged to start up Midwest-IX, a company devoted to bringing the benefits of Internet exchanges to markets passed up by the industry. Together with the other founders, Midwest-IX will enable increased Internet performance, increased services and decreased costs for all clients. Many partnerships have already begun on this endeavor and all partners see the vast potential of the business model.

David Carlson

Prior to Forsythe, Carlson worked in various leadership positions across sales, marketing, and strategy at NaviSite (a Time Warner Cable company), Siemens Enterprise Communications, Avaya, and VPNet Technologies. Over the past five years, he has been working closely with enterprise clients to successfully transition to the “as-a-service” model and better aligning information technology with business objectives.

Ed Sitar

Ed Sitar (pronounced “sitter”), Manager, Economic and Business Development, ComEd is responsible for the company’s economic development functions in the areas of marketing and promotion, business retention and new customer attraction with a strong emphasis on the data center industry. Ed has also been instrumental in the formation of a new regional economic development umbrella organization called the Metro Economic Growth Alliance of Chicago (MEGA). MEGA Chicago is comprised of 10 county-wide ec development organizations and the City of Chicago’s public-private partnership (World Business Chicago) and is focused on growing the economy of Northeastern Illinois through coordinated, effective business development. onomic ComEd is a unit of Chicago-based Exelon Corporation, one of the nation’s largest electric utilities with more than $14 billion in revenues and a customer base of five million. ComEd provides services to approximately 3.7 million customers across Northern Illinois, or 70 percent of the state’s population. For over 14 years, Ed has managed ComEd’s efforts to attract new business to the Northern Illinois region by working closely with municipalities, regional economic development organizations, and the State of Illinois. ComEd nationally promotes Northern Illinois as a desirable business location to growing businesses. Mitch Carrel is a Partner in the Real Estate Practice Group. His practice focuses on representing public and private companies, land owners, developers and investors and helping them secure land use and zoning approvals, public incentives, local regulatory and siting approvals, as well as performing zoning due diligence. Among Mitch's projects, he has helped obtain approvals for data centers, conduit path use agreements and the siting of wireless communications facilities. Andy Cvengros is a Senior Vice President with JLL and is member of the firm’s Data Center Services Practice. Focusing exclusively in mission critical tenant / user representation and project management, Andy assists his clients in strategic planning, acquisition and disposition of heavy infrastructure and data center assets, financial analysis, geographic risk planning, lease analysis and negotiations, market valuations and technology consulting services. He has worked with many multi-national F500 organizations to help define and implement their data center sourcing and site selection strategy globally. Prior to joining JLL, Andy worked within Hewlett Packard’s Data Center Consulting group (formerly EYP), assisting clients in aligning their IT, Facility and Business requirements. He draws on his experience in working with IT to match virtualization, cloud computing and disaster recovery strategies to data center facility builds and capacity planning. By understanding the dynamic drivers of a data center, he is able to provide valuable insight to all parties.
