Jeffery Daniels is Senior Vice President of Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), a division of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services, Inc. that focuses on servicing and advising institutional real estate investors. Mr. Daniels’ primary responsibility is to design and implement strategic plans to further develop and scale the IPA platform across North America. Prior to joining IPA, Mr. Daniels was the head of AIG’s U.S. multifamily investments. In this role, he was responsible for formulating the development and value-add investment strategy and portfolio management of the company’s U.S. real estate holdings. During his 13-year tenure at AIG, Mr. Daniels invested and managed over $7 billion of multifamily real estate, spanning over 38,000 units and more than 20 states. He has formed over 25 joint ventures with national and regional real estate developers and operators and grew the AIG multifamily portfolio by more than 30%. Prior to joining AIG, Mr. Daniels was an assistant vice president at Zurich Structured Finance, where he managed a $1.5 billion multi-family portfolio financed with Section 42 Low Income Housing Tax Credits. Mr. Daniels received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Hampton University and an MBA in business management from Bloomsburg University. He serves on the Board of Directors for the National Multifamily Housing Council, is a Sustaining member of the Urban Land Institute, and a member of ULI’s Multifamily Green Product Council. Mr. Daniels is the proud father of three children (Jalijah, 21, Aaron, 18 & Emma, 15), all of whom attended Friends Academy in Locust Valley, where he is an alumnus and previous board member.

Gwen O’Shea is the President & CEO of the Community Development Corporation of Long Island. She oversees the 51-year-old regional non-profit with three non-profit affiliates and numerous for-profit subsidiaries, over $31 million in assets, an annual budget of $35 million and a staff of 87. CDCLI strives to strengthen homes, communities and individuals. CDCLI serves over 20,000 individuals annually through a variety of business lines: Rental Assistance, Resident Services, The Home Ownership Center, Home Improvement and Optimization and Real Estate Development. CDCLI’s Community Development Finance Institution (CDFI) provides critical capital to under financed communities; supporting multi-family developments, homeowners and individuals. Currently, over $10 million is deployed in loan funds. CDCLI is a co-venture partner in fifteen multifamily tax credit complexes representing over 2000 apartments, with an additional 278 in pre-development. CDCLI has developed 235 single family affordable for sale subdivisions and currently managed 47 single-family scattered site rental properties. As a chartered member of NeighborWorks®(a congressionally chartered nonprofit organization that supports community development), CDCLI is recognized as an “exemplary organization,” meeting a high standard of fiscal integrity and service performance to assist local residents in achieving their dreams. Prior to joining CDCLI in March 2017, Gwen served as the President & CEO of HWCLI for 10 years. She was the first female executive of the umbrella organization that advocates for the rights of those most vulnerable and at-risk. From 2006-2012, Gwen was an Adjunct Professor at LIU for the Graduate Programs of Social Work & Health Care & Public Administration. Gwen serves as a member of the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York’s Housing Advisory Council, is an Executive Member of the New York State Neighborworks Alliance and is a Board Member of the Long Island Federally Qualified Health Centers. Mr. Coughlan [Jim] is a Principal of TRITEC Real Estate Company and was a co-founder of the Company in 1986 with his brother, Bob. TRITEC has three operating entities - TRITEC Development Group, TRITEC Building Company and TRITEC Asset Management - with offices on Long Island and Washington, D.C. TRITEC has developed apartments, mixed-use complexes, industrial parks, mid-rise office buildings, hotels, medical office buildings, R&D facilities and industrial buildings. Notable projects include: Ronkonkoma Hub, Ronkonkoma, NY New Village at Patchogue, NY Dealertrack, 3400 New Hyde Park Road, North Hills, NY 100 & 102 Motor Parkway, Hauppauge, NY Kennedy Row, Washington, DC Kincora, Sterling, Virginia St. Anthony’s High School Student Center, South Huntington, NY Stony Brook Technology Center, East Setauket, NY Jim is actively involved with a number of charitable and not-for-profit organizations, including his role as Chairman of the Board for the Long Island Community Development Corporation and as Secretary for the Long Island Builders Institute. Jim also serves on Stony Brook Medicine's Development Council. Jim is a 1984 graduate of Brown University, a member of the Brown Alumni Association and serves as an interviewer for prospective candidates for admission from Long Island. Jim is married, has raised four children and lives in Setauket with his wife, Betsy.

Sean M. Cronin is a partner at Cronin & Cronin Law Firm. He specializes in negotiating tax certiorari matters for prominent developers, national REITs and tenants in Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester counties, as well as the five boroughs and upstate New York. He is responsible for successfully reducing the assessments, and thereby the real estate taxes, on many of the largest properties in New York State thanks to his expertise in property valuation issues and knowledge of market conditions and demographics. His clients include prominent developers and owners of all property types, including office buildings, industrial buildings, shopping centers and retail locations, restaurants, apartment buildings and condominium complexes, nursing homes and assisted living facilities and much more. Sean is an Executive Board Member and Co-President of the Long Island Real Estate Group (LIREG), an organization that provides the real estate industry and allied trades with a platform for real estate-related charitable giving and networking. He is also an Executive Board Member of Vision Long Island. Vision joins with others to promote more livable, economically sustainable and environmentally responsible growth on Long Island through Smart Growth. Sean has spoken on panels at Vision’s Smart Growth Summit about property tax matters as they relate to key objectives such as strengthening communities and redevelopment on Long Island. Sean was honored by Long Island Business News as one of the 40 under 40 rising stars in the business community. This is an accolade given to young professionals who are striving to improve the business community. Sean is also actively involved in the Long Island Chapter’s fundraising efforts for non-profits such as the Make a Wish Foundation. Sean serves on the Executive Committee for the Long Island Special Olympics Annual “Evening of Champions.” He has volunteered with the Long Beach Martin Luther King Center, and was especially active in helping the organization recover after the devastating effects of Hurricane Sandy. For his efforts, he was presented with a Proclamation from the City of Long Beach. He has also performed pro bono work for Henry Kaufman Campgrounds, a non-profit that has enabled hundreds of thousands of children to have summers of fun over the years. He is a member of the Nassau County, Suffolk County and Westchester County Bar Associations and is regularly featured in the New York Real Estate Journal’s “Ask the Expert” section and quoted in law-related articles in Long Island Business News. He is also Alumni Social Chairman for the Long Island Chapter of Washington and Lee University, his alma mater. He is also an active member of the Lawyer Association at his other alma mater, Chaminade High School.
