Beth Hebrew Synagogue

The Beth Hebrew Synagogue built in 1955 is one of nine historic landmark buildings Michael Levine, LevineMachine, has saved from the wrecking ball and brought back to life in the Warehouse District and Roosevelt Row.

“This is a building that has significant social history because it was co-founded by somebody who escaped the Nazis [Elias Loewy], because of the congregants who went here, because Steven Spielberg had his Bar-Mitzvah here," Deborah Sussman {as reported by Phil Latzman in KJZZ article).

Summary

From Roosevelt Row redevelopments to the Warehouse District's art revitalization, Downtown Phoenix is the place to be. Once economically burdened by the Great Recession, downtown has reemerged as a center for businesses, parks, restaurants, and sports arenas, making it one of the most attractive spots for new developments. This section of town, one may say, is the epitomy of live - work - play.

How are developers maintaining culture while constructing new projects? What kind of proposals are in the works for 2017? Where are the newest centers for retail, restaurants, hospitality, office and multifamily located?

Find out this & more from Phoenix's top developers at our first ever The Future of Downtown Phoenix! Downtown Phoenix is revitalizing and the renaissance has just begun.
