Terry Goddard

Terry Goddard served as Mayor of Phoenix from 1984 to 1990. He was elected Arizona Attorney General twice in 2002 and 2006 and is currently starting his third term as an elected director and Board President of the Central Arizona Project. Terry’s terms as Mayor were dedicated to opening the planning process to citizen input through the Phoenix Futures Forum and empowering the Village Planning Committees. He led the effort to establish the first Phoenix homeless facility (CASS), the Historic Preservation Commission and the Arts Commission (now known as the Phoenix Arts and Culture Commission) and the One Percent for Art program; kick started the resurgence of downtown Phoenix and led the way for regional rapid transit. He was elected President of the National League of Cities and named Municipal Leader of the Year in 1988. After service as mayor, Terry taught a graduate course on urban planning with an emphasis on neighborhood preservation and downtown revitalization at the ASU College of Architecture and Urban Design. As Arizona Attorney General (2003-2011), Terry focused on protecting consumers and fighting trans-national organized crime. He led the Arizona effort against international money laundering and brought the polygamous sects in Northern Arizona and Utah under the rule of law. In 2010, he received the Kelly-Wyman Award, the highest recognition given by the state attorneys general. For the past 6 years, he has taught a course on the law of state attorneys general at ASU College of Law. Starting in 2016, Terry led an initiative effort to abolish dark money in Arizona elections. In 2022, 72% of Arizona voters approved Prop 211. An Arizona native, Terry is a graduate of Harvard College and ASU College of Law. He retired from the US Naval Reserve as a Commander and lives in downtown Phoenix with his wife Monica. Terry is currently engaged in repurposing an historic church as a community asset.

Mark serves as a Principal and Market Leader of the Phoenix office. He is directly responsible for growing revenue and profit while supporting service lines within Avison Young locally and globally. He is also tasked with recruiting and mentoring top real estate talent, overseeing local brokerage operations, and executing a core strategy to position Avison Young as a leader in all commercial real estate property types and business lines in Arizona. In his personal practice, Mark focuses on tenant representation/ occupier services for a diverse set of users seeking to lease or own the facilities in which their business operates. Mark creates and nurtures relationships by providing an unmatched level of service. He represents clients with facility needs, from locally based businesses to Fortune 500 companies, and has implemented strategy and executed transactions in many markets around the world. He brings clients the ideal combination of experience to spot trends and significant market changes, longstanding industry relationships, negotiating skills, and street-level market knowledge, enabling him to identify the right location at the right price. He also ensures his clients get the best service in all areas important to their unique strategy through one point of contact. Mark’s real joy in business comes from making a significant contribution to his client’s success and creating lifelong friendships as a result. In a career spanning more than three decades, Mark has represented many of the largest companies occupying business real estate in North America including AETNA/CVS, Hartford Insurance, Liberty Mutual, UPS, IHeart Media, Voya, Metrie, Edwards/Copco, Fresenius Medical, and Ingram Micro, as well as the Arizona State University Foundation, K. Hovnanian Homes, Southwest Service Administrators and several Phoenix-area law firms, among others. Mark joined Avison Young in 2017 from Cushman & Wakefield in Phoenix, where he served as Managing Director. He has also held management, senior executive, and broker positions with Lee & Associates, CB Richard Ellis, and Trammel Crow Company. A consistent top producer, Seale has garnered numerous commercial real estate industry awards during his career, including Top 100, Top Team, and Top 10 Producer awards on numerous occasions, and he was a top producer at Avison Young for 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2022.

Adam Finkel

Adam Finkel is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Tower Capital, a Phoenix- based Commercial Real Estate Structured Finance Firm, specializing in debt and equity placement for most commercial real estate asset classes. Since the firm’s inception in 2015, it has been involved in over $3.5 billion in successful capitalizations on behalf of investors, developers, owners, and operators throughout the country. Prior to founding Tower Capital, Adam served as Vice President at Johnson Capital, one of the country’s top real estate capital advisory firms with 20 locations nationwide. There he was involved in the successful placement of over $360 million in bridge and permanent structured financing on behalf of commercial real estate investors and property owners throughout North America. Prior to Johnson Capital, Adam was with Travers Realty Corporation, a regional commercial real estate brokerage firm headquartered in Los Angeles. At Travers, Adam was one of the founding agents of the West Los Angeles office. He subsequently took the position of Designated Broker and Managing Director for Travers’ Phoenix office where he represented organizations like Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Freeport- McMoran (ticker FCX) with strategic planning and lease negotiations. Adam began his real estate career with Levrose Real Estate and Investments, a boutique commercial brokerage firm located in Scottsdale, Arizona. At Levrose, he negotiated over 300 commercial real estate transactions which included office, industrial, and retail properties. In 2014, Adam earned the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a title held by a small group of elite commercial real estate investment professionals. He is actively involved with the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), and serves on the Jewish Federation on North America (JFNA) Leadership Cabinet, as well as the JFNA Security Task Force. Adam graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Business Administration and Communications and is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Arizona. He is a regular contributor to Forbes.com and has also been featured in many industry publications and nationally recognized podcasts.

David J. Hrizak is a dynamic, versatile, and seasoned leader with extensive experience in real estate strategy formulation, implementation, and development. Demonstrating a history of creative deal-making, he has been involved in an array of transactions in the office, retail, industrial, medical, and residential sectors aggregating over $400MM. As an entrepreneur with a proven track record of developing multiple businesses and properties utilizing both personal and private investment capital, he has generated above average returns for partners on every project. David began a career in real estate in 1995 as a commercial real estate broker marketing cash flow producing assets such as office buildings, shopping centers and apartment buildings. After four years of success and tapping out the potential within a family-owned business, he launched his entrepreneurial career with creation of Investment Property Consultants, Inc., a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker serving as broker and property manager of investment real estate totaling over $150MM. In 2001, he formed Burzak Investment Group, Inc., with the goal of locating and identifying real estate development opportunities, either as ground-up development or redevelopment of existing properties. Utilizing creative deal-making and strong negotiation skills, David directed the company’s successful participation in the office, industrial, medical, retail, and residential sectors. Investments included buy, build, and hold for cash flow and buy, build, and sell projects. In 2010 David founded Streamline Construction & Development Corp., a General Contracting firm, to further enhance investment returns by providing budget cost analysis and project management on development projects. Burzak and Streamline Construction & Development together have facilitated and executed investments totaling over $100MM. David brings to Streamline Capital Group, LLC experience and expertise including identification and analysis of sites for investment or development, direct involvement in the entitlement process with various municipal bodies and officials, oversight of the construction process, and cultivation of financing relationships. As a collaborative and community-minded project leader, David spends his time volunteering as Chairman of the Board of Oakwood Creative Care, a nonprofit serving those suffering with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. He lives with his family in Mesa, Arizona.
