Ben Badiee is the founder and CEO of Badiee Development Inc. (“BDI”) and several other successful business ventures. Mr. Badiee formed Badiee Development in 2003 and currently has upwards of $1 Billion dollars of Industrial real estate development pipeline in Southwestern markets, which offers compelling investment structures in up & coming markets with high quality amenities and customer service. Mr. Badiee’s vision for Badiee Development is to create a long-term real estate firm and operation that creates valuable outcomes for those with a financial relationship with the company as well as through the company’s strategic corporate philanthropy. He is responsible for developing private and equity investment strategies, acquiring the land and hiring professional firms as well as securing construction and permanent financing, leasing and positioning of assets. He believes that taking a hands-on approach to all phases of the development process is the best approach to delivering the highest quality real estate products. Ben earned a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Tennessee Technical University

Kaitlin Murphy Arduino is President of Murphy Development Company, a leading developer of corporate industrial and technology parks in San Diego.  Mrs. Arduino is responsible for day-to-day management of MDC, as well as all aspects of the development cycle including land use analysis and site selection, entitlement and permitting for the company’s corporate business parks, and construction project management. Mrs. Arduino also works with the CFO to source the construction and permanent financing for Murphy Development’s existing assets and new acquisitions, and manages the leasing of the company’s vacant space. MDC recently completed a state-of-the-art facility for The Salvation Army in Otay Mesa, the 137,000 SF Campus at San Diego Business Park Building 3 which is now fully leased, and a 40,000 SF office TI for the GSA. MDC is also under construction on 400,000 SF of spec buildings, both R&D and industrial, in Otay Mesa and Scripps Ranch. Mrs. Arduino started her career at HFF, one of the country’s largest real estate capital intermediaries.  During her time there, Mrs. Arduino underwrote over $1.5 billion in commercial properties; as an originator, she closed over $90 million in financing. Mrs. Arduino holds a Masters in Real Estate Economics and Finance from the London School of Economics, where she graduated with distinction.  Mrs. Arduino completed her undergraduate degree in finance at the University of Arizona.  She currently serves as Vice Chair for the Otay Mesa Property Owners Association, and previously served on the SANDAG ITOC committee and the Otay Mesa Planning Group.  Mrs. Arduino is an active member of CREW and NAIOP. Mrs. Arduino volunteers her time with Young Life Beach Cities.

Founder of RAF Pacifica Group and Co-Founder and Principal of SR Commercial, Adam Robinson is a strategic real estate investor and operator specializing in the acquisition, development, operations, and management of commercial real estate. Robinson is currently acquiring land and developing speculative commercial real estate, primarily in San Diego County. Over the past few years, he has acquired 2.5 million square feet, more than 2 million of which is for a long-term hold, and has an additional one million square feet of speculative development in the pipeline over the next 24 months. He oversees a portfolio of more than four million square feet of real estate, with a niche focus on office and industrial product. Robinson has directed more than $1.3 billion in investments and has focused his career on establishing the vision and strategy necessary to execute successful value-add commercial real estate transactions. His deep industry expertise in acquisitions, development, and brokerage, combined with his strategic networking, has enabled him to successfully drive value and attractive returns for his capital partners. Robinson has been a featured speaker at the University of San Diego, as well as at commercial real estate conferences such as NAIOP and SIOR. He is also an investor in multiple operating businesses. Robinson holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego. He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of California and holds numerous professional affiliations, including CCIM, SIOR, and CPM. He is the past president of the San Diego chapter of SIOR.

Richard Miltimore is a partner in the San Diego and Orange County offices of Allen Matkins. He represents private sector clients, including property developers, owners, and financial institutions. Rick has experience in a broad range of finance, leasing and real estate purchase and sale transactions, including secured lending, project development, real estate joint venture and equity fund formation, and equity- and asset-based property acquisitions and dispositions. Rick's experience also includes representing both landlords and tenants on a variety of leasing matters, including negotiating leases for industrial warehouses, retail, office space, bio-medical laboratory space, medical office buildings and data centers, as well as build-to-suit construction leases and ground leases. Rick's recent transactions include representing a real estate fund in connection with a multi-billion dollar joint venture to acquire a portfolio of dozens of residential apartment communities across the United States in a single transaction, as well as a similar transaction that closed in multiple stages. Prior to joining Allen Matkins, Rick was a member of the project finance and real estate practice group at Latham & Watkins LLP

Brad Termini co-founded Zephyr Partners six years ago with a commitment to building quality residential projects throughout San Diego County. He has overseen $700 million in development and has been instrumental in driving the innovative thinking that maximizes the company’s relationships with both homeowners and investors. Termini has a keen focus on making opportunistic investments in choice locations that have resulted in more than 20 successful projects in areas such as Carlsbad, La Jolla, La Mesa and Oceanside. Termini started his career in western New York where he was immersed in the day-to-day activities of his family's real estate development and management company. His first real-estate related job, as a young boy, was working as a construction laborer. Since then he has gained 20 years of hands-on experience in every aspect of the industry – with an emphasis in construction and property management, sales and marketing. After relocating to California in 2003, Termini landed a job with The Corky McMillin Company, at the time a leading privately owned real estate development firm specializing in both residential master planned communities and commercial properties. He was a key member of the McMillin team that masterminded and implemented the redevelopment plan for the much anticipated Liberty Station, the former Naval Training Center which is now a major San Diego hub and mixed-use development. As a founding partner of Zephyr, he is closely involved in the acquisition of properties, finance and oversight of the entire Zephyr team. Termini is an active member of the San Diego Building Industry Association (BIA) and serves on its Presidents’ Council.

John Kenney brings more than 12 years of specialized real estate investment experience and exceptional financial credentials to his position with The Casey Brown Company. Prior to his current role John was vice president of acquisitions with BBL and Westcore Properties where he played a key role in over $750 million of acquisitions, dispositions and financings of industrial, office and retail properties. A certified public accountant, John previously was with PricewaterhouseCoopers in San Diego where he specialized in real estate and finance. John is a native San Diegan and graduate of Santa Clara University. John lives in North County with his wife and three children.

Paul joined MG Properties Group in 2010 and is responsible for the firm's acquisition, disposition, and capital markets activities. At MG, he has been involved with the purchase of approximately 22,000 units totaling $4 billion in total consideration. Paul has 20 years of experience in real estate private equity investment, capital markets, and corporate M&A. Prior to joining MG, he held various roles in commercial real estate debt and equity acquisitions, development, and financing. He has a background in corporate M&A and venture capital investing at Northrop Grumman (NOC). Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Mr. Grossman is a Senior Managing Director at Meridian Capital Group. He opened the firm’s San Diego office in May 2011 charged with expanding the company’s presence throughout the western and southwestern states. In his 10+ years leading the west coast for Meridian, Mr. Grossman has built a team that has originated and closed more than $12 billion of debt and equity transactions spanning more than 600 loans across primary and esoteric asset types. Prior to opening Meridian’s San Diego office, Mr. Grossman was a Structured Finance Analyst Fitch Ratings, a Principal at Mission Peak Capital, and worked in Meridian’s New York City office where he closed in excess of $3 billion. Mr. Grossman attended NYU, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management. Nathan Moeder is widely considered one of the west coast's foremost authority on the financial feasibility of real estate projects. As a Partner of London Moeder Advisors, he serves as a strategic consultant who advises a wide array of clients from the perspective of real estate economics. His clients include real estate developers, investors, corporations, financial institutions, businesses and public agencies. Project assignments span all real estate sectors including residential developments, office buildings, industrial, hotel, retail and mixed-use projects. He brings extensive experience and financial expertise as an advisor and analyst to many successful projects and assignments throughout North America. Mr. Moeder is a real estate finance, investment and valuation expert. His experience in the finance realm ranges from working with institutional Wall Street firms on international deals to small entrepreneurial investment groups. He specializes in market analysis, evaluating project feasibility and acquisition strategies, as well as structuring joint ventures and debt layers for projects. He has been an instructor since 2000 in various courses on real estate, including Finance and Investments, Proforma Analysis, Development Feasibility and Market Analysis. Currently he is an Adjunct Professor at UC San Diego following his most recent posts at University of San Diego and the graduate program at the Woodbury School of Architecture. He is also considered to be an effective expert witness in real estate litigation involving issues about financial analysis, valuation, damages, best practices and market analysis.
