Chris Foley specializes in entitlement, financial analysis and land acquisition. Chris works with some of the largest clients in Northern and Southern California including Tishman Speyer, Lennar Urban, TMG Partners, Morgan Stanley, The Pauls Corporation, CIM Group, Trumark Urban and others. Over the past decade, Chris has brokered and consulted on land transactions involving over ten thousand condominium residences and apartments. Since 2012, Chris has brokered over $400 million for Polaris Pacific clients in the San Francisco area. Chris spends his time and expertise helping non-profit organizations such as the Homeless Prenatal Program, Sword to Plowshares, Family House and United Playez; he is also a board member at the Chinese American International School in San Francisco.

Matt Field, Chief Investment Officer, has 30 years of commercial real estate experience, including development, finance, leasing and project management. Mr. Field has been with TMG Partners since 1993 and is responsible for managing acquisitions and dispositions, while supporting the firm’s development activities with lead responsibility for the real estate portfolio. Mr. Field also chairs this Investment Committee. He has been responsible for over $3 billion of acquisitions and dispositions for TMG since 2003. Previously, he was responsible for managing complex entitlement and development projects. Prior to TMG: Mr. Field worked at Catellus Development Corporation in corporate financial analysis and major asset acquisitions and dispostions. His prior experience also includes work at Sedway Associates and Halcyon Real Estate Advisors. Mr. Field has a Bachelor’s degree with a major in Political Science from the University of Colorado. Mr. MacDonald focuses on real estate investments. Prior to StepStone, Mr. MacDonald was a founding partner of Clairvue Capital Partners, a real estate investment manager which integrated with StepStone to establish StepStone Real Estate. At Clairvue, he was an investment committee member and focused on sourcing, underwriting and managing investments in the U.S., Europe and Latin America. Before Clairvue, he was a Director at Liquid Realty Partners, an investment manager focused on real estate private equity secondaries and held an acquisitions role at Babcock and Brown. Earlier in his career he completed GE Capital’s Financial Management Program and was part of GE’s Global Sponsor Finance business. Mr. MacDonald received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from Indiana University

Michael Homeier practices in the area of general business, corporate, transactional, and business financing law. With nearly 25 years' experience in the corporate and business transactional field, both as in-house corporate counsel and with private law firms, Michael's practice emphasizes the drafting, negotiation, and review of contracts, including commercial contracts, financing agreements, factoring packages, intellectual property licensing agreements, new media, technology, and commercial contracts, and entertainment industry agreements for both production houses and industry professionals. An integral part of Michael's practice includes a comprehensive ""entity practice"" involved with the formation, maintenance, and dissolution of corporations and limited liability companies, both in the for-profit and non-profit sector. Prior to his co-founding of Homeier & Law, P.C., Michael practiced business, contract, corporate, and securities law both as in-house counsel for large public companies (including Countrywide and Herbalife) and private enterprises, and in association or as of-counsel to prominent Los Angeles law firms such as Ball Hunt Hart Brown & Baerwitz (now part of Carlsmith Ball) and Wasserman Comden & Casselman. In the past, Michael has also garnered invaluable experience on the opposite end of the ""size spectrum,"" working with a sole practitioner in a combined business and civil litigation practice assisting small- and medium-sized clients, where Michael authored and then argued two published, precedent-setting appeals cases, Matthews v. Regents of the University of California (34 Cal. App. 4th 598) concerning workplace sexual harassment, and Jenkins v. Inglewood Unified School District (34 Cal. App. 4th 1388) regarding breach of a school district employment contract. In addition to numerous engagements as a university law professor, Michael also actively participates in public speaking engagements, both in the business financing and business law arenas, and as an inspirational speaker to teenaged and young adult cancer survivors on post-treatment life success. Michael received his J.D. from University of Southern California and his B.A. from The University of California, Los Angeles. Michael is a member of the State Bar of California.
