Curtis Leigh joined Hunter Properties as a Development Manager in 2004 and is now Director of Development and Partner. His major roles include deal structure analysis, financial modeling, pre-construction engineering, due diligence, leasing, and construction management. Prior to working at Hunter Properties, Mr. Leigh worked at Turner Construction for 3 years and worked in investment banking for 2 years. He completed his undergraduate courses with a Bachelor of Engineering in 1997 from Vanderbilt University and received his Masters of Business Administration from Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2004.

Rob, who joined DPR in 1998, has proven operational and preconstruction expertise, particularly on large-scale projects in the commercial office, advanced technology and healthcare markets. He has also led the Bay Area’s Community Initiatives team, helping DPR grow even more integral and indispensable to our communities. Rob is a USGBC LEED Accredited Professional and has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from LeHigh University.

Jason Breede, PE, CEM, is a Director for Enovity, an engineering firm that operates, maintains, and optimizes facilities to assure higher performance places. Jason leads a team of commissioning engineers and project managers who support owners through construction projects to ensure that their requirements are achieved. His recent work has helped leading technology employers like Google and LinkedIn deliver indoor environments that support employee health and wellness, maximize energy efficiency, and reduce burden on facility management teams. A Licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer and Certified Energy Manager, Jason holds a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Bradley University, and is currently working on his MBA.

Gene Klein is the CEO of BarkerBlue, a Bay Area-based document and digital asset management company that acts as the central hub of information on thousands of construction projects across North America. Gene has led the company’s expansion into professional services and jobsite staffing as well as As-Built management of facilities and maintenance information for organizations worldwide. BarkerBlue also provides Environmental Graphics for workspace interiors of the fastest-growing companies in the region.

Eugene “Geno” Ashley is a litigator and member of Hopkins & Carley’s Real Estate Practice. He represents owners, contractors, design professionals and material suppliers on real estate, construction, and business issues, such as:  Contract drafting and negotiation;  Mechanic’s liens;  Stop notices;  Claims and defects for commercial and residential claims;  Breach of contract;  Commercial disputes;  Statutory claims;  Business torts;  Unfair business practices;  Insurance disputes;  Professional malpractice claims; Geno also advises clients on intellectual property protection and exploitation and serves as a general counsel to the firm, handling issues related to professional responsibility, conflicts, and other risk management matters. He frequently lectures at seminars on various topics, often including complex construction issues.
