John Goff Establishes $4B Investment Fund

Forth Worth-based mega-investor and co-founder of Crescent Real Estate Equities John Goff has established a $4B investment fund to be used for commercial real estate opportunities. The fund will be known as the GP Invitation Fund (GPIF) and was closed after a campaign raised $200M, reports Realty News Report. GPIF will target all real estate property types, primarily focused in US markets.
The fund has already closed or committed to six new investments totaling $400M. Crescent Real Estate Holdings and Goff Capital Partners have combined to help manage the fund. The new fully integrated company will operate under the name Crescent Real Estate with John Goff serving as chairman. [RNR]
