Invesco Nabs Williams Tower
The deed is done: Invesco finalized its purchase of Williams Tower. At $412M, its Houstons largest sale ever outside of the CBD. JLLs Michael Zietsman, Tom Melody, and Dan Bellow led the team that repped seller Hines. They say it drew intense interest from investors around the globe (best and finals included groups from the Middle East, Asia, and Europe), thanks to its iconic status and unique visibility. The 64-story, 1.4M SF tower is 95% occupied and drew $100 more per SF than its 08 purchase price, not a bad ROI for Hines.
