Architect of the Year Named at AIA Gala
Congrats to Brave Architecture’s Christian Sheridan, who was named the young architect of the year at the AIA Houston Gala this weekend. AIA also recognized Studio RED as the architecture firm of the year, while 700 people danced the night away and bid in the silent auction in Silver Street Studios. Here are Three Square Design’s Jake Donaldson, Cindy Donaldson and Melvalean McLemore with Gabriel Catina at the gala. The firm designed award-winning Beltway Crossing Northwest, a 2M SF business park developed by Panattoni and built by Alston.
Pros from Seeberger Architect and Henderson Engineers looked snazzy—here’s Perry Seeberger, Justin Harvey and his wife, Tom Henderson and his wife, Chris Emery, Bryan Cater and Jorge Romero. This year’s gala theme is in keeping with AIA’s national “Look Up!” campaign.
