Transwestern Real Estate Services has been engaged by Capital Commercial Investments Inc. to provide leasing and management services for a five-story, 351K SF building at 6500 West Loop South.
The property sits on 11.4 acres and has a three-story parking garage and 74K SF floor plates.
Capital Commercial Investments is planning capital improvements that will include a refreshed exterior, activation of the exterior green space, common area upgrades, and updated, energy-efficient lighting throughout. Longtime owner and occupier AT&T will remain on the fourth floor, leasing 74K SF.
Transwestern’s Doug Little, Justin Brasell and Ashley Cassel will represent the building owner in leasing efforts.

Aja Ladson has been promoted to lead the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment function within CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions business. Ladson has held QHSE leadership positions for 15 years and has specific expertise within manufacturing, supply chain, oil and gas, utilities and construction industries. She will liaise with CBRE’s corporate resources as well as peers in other business units to develop and implement the firm’s strategic direction for QHSE globally. Prior to this role, Ladson was a senior manager within CBRE’s QHSE team and supported an oil and gas client. She is the chairwoman of the Houston Chapter of CBRE's African American Employee Network, a member of CBRE’s Women’s Network and a member of the American Society of Safety Professionals.

Taylor Morrison Home Corp., the nation's fifth-largest homebuilder, named Todd Rasmussen the new division president for Houston, replacing Curt VanHyfte, who is stepping into a new role as area president of the west for Taylor Morrison. Rasmussen has been with Taylor Morrison for 15 years, most recently as Houston’s vice president of operations. Rasmussen has also served as vice president of finance for Taylor Morrison in Houston and as Orlando Division controller. Taylor Morrison has 53 communities in the Greater Houston area.
LEASES
Multiple tenants have renewed their leases at Pearland Town Center. Tenants include a Buc-ee’s renewal of 14.9K SF, Regus for 13.7K SF, Freese & Nichols for 12.6K SF and Graham Ventures for 8.5K SF. Evergreen Commercial’s Lilly Golden represented the landlord in all transactions. Pearland Town Center will be fully leased until March 2021, when two spaces will be available.
