This Week's Houston Deal Sheet
The Avera Cos. and AEW Capital Management are developing a 242K SF industrial building at Antoine Road, north of Beltway 8.
The building, Champions Park, will sit on 14 acres in Northwest Houston offering ready access to major thoroughfares, including Sam Houston Parkway, Interstate 45, Tomball Parkway and Veterans Memorial Drive.
The project, to be delivered roughly at the end of 2022, is located in one of the city's most active leasing markets, according to Cushman & Wakefield, which is leasing the property.
“We believe Champions Park will be a sought-after project, largely due to its highly desirable location and proximity to neighboring institutional quality tenants," The Avera Cos. CEO Trey Odom said in a release. "There is nowhere else in the Northwest submarket for a tenant to go without compromising on access, site plan efficiency, or square footage."
