New luxury mixed-use developments are a sure sign of a hot market. Midway, the developer behind successful projects like CityCentre has announced major developments at its newest venture, Century Square. The location may surprise you: College Station.
Four eateries bring new options to Century Square, a 290k SF mixed-use development featuring 60 acres of retail, restaurant and entertainment, just steps from Texas A&M University in College Station. Midway just announced the addition of Berryhill Baja Grill, Zoës Kitchen, Tiff’s Treats and Mo’s Irish Pub to the project. The development will be anchored by two hotels, the 141-room Cavalry Court and 162-room The George.

PetSmart leased 20k SF at the Grand Parkway and Kuykendahl in Spring. Ed James at Streetwise repped PetSmart. Kimco's Mike Slusky and Doug Schooley repped the landlord.

Mama Fu's Asian House signed a new 2,200 SF lease at the HEB-anchored Clear Lake Marketplace. JLL's Matt Parsons and Mark Raines repped the tenant, and Fidelis' John Clinkscales repped the landlord.

NewQuest Properties topped the 2M SF leased mark at the 550-acre Brazos Town Center in Fort Bend County, finalizing a 38k SF lease with 24 Hour Fitness. Meredith McLeod-Cobb and Bob Conwell repped the landlord in-house.

Power Supply Sealspurchased a 22k SF freestanding industrial manufacturing facility. NAI Partners' Darren O'Connor repped the seller, BV Oilfield Services, while his colleague Jake Wilkinson repped the buyer.

Streetwise Land Advisors' Ryan Sweeney completed three sales:
- He repped Southway Business Park, selling 2.46 acres at the southeast corner of Fuqua and Freehill.
- A 19-acre site on Senior Road at Highway 6 to a private investment group.
- A 10.6-acre site on North Sam Houston Parkway near Old Humble Road. The buyer was repped by Clay Pritchett at NAI Partners.

EDGE announced it is expanding the capital markets division in its Houston office. To launch the platform, Burdette Huffman and Kevin Holland joined the leadership team as principal and SVP, respectively.
