This Week's Houston Deal Sheet
Transwestern has set the team that will take on one of Houston's largest office leasing assignments. Doug Little, Debbie Wilson, David Baker and Kelli Gault will lease the nearly 4M SF of office space at Houston Center, while colleagues Nick Hernandez, Crystal Allen and Kim Bernick lease the retail space.
Houston Center is 72% leased. While owner Brookfield has not announced plans for Houston Center, some sort of renovation is likely. At $875M, Houston Center's disposition was the largest of 2017.
“Once renovations at the development are complete, Houston Center will have the most amenity-rich office environment in the central business district and will be the premier location to attract and retain employees,” Baker said.
