High-Tech Manufacturing Firm Doubles Space And Ditches EaDo
Houston-based MacroFab Inc will relocate its HQ from East Downtown to Northwest Houston as it doubles in size next year. The high-tech manufacturing firm produces outsourced circuit boards and tech gadgetry for small to midsized businesses that can't afford an in-house manufacturing line. The company's 16 employees will move into 10k SF near 290 and the 610 loop, according to the Houston Business Journal. Stream Realty repped MacroFab.
MacroFab CEO Chris Church said one of the big reasons for the move is EaDo's transformation. The area is under heavy development, which for MacroFab means rent versus quality of space is misaligned. Chris says EaDo has shifted its focus to retail. [HBJ]
