Texas Central High-Speed Rail Adds Heavy Hitters To Houston Office
Texas Central, the developers of the private sector-led high-speed rail project, appointed two new executives to its Houston office. Jeff Mosely, most recent a member of the Texas Transportation Commission, was named Texas VP. Michael Moore, a top aide to Houston's former mayor, was named regional VP.
Jeff's background is as a county judge and former director of the Governor's Office of Economic Development & Tourism. Michael served as chief-of-staff during Bill White's six-year term as mayor. In addition to his handling of hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Ike, Michael also has high-level federal experience, including as a special assistant to the deputy secretary of the Department of Energy.
