3 New Tenants Join A Mixed-Use Project In The Heights
New tenants have signed up for space in Market at Houston Heights, a 30K SF mixed-use project in Houston. Salon Lofts, Vanguard Sport & Spine and M+L Dental inked retail leases, joining others such as Flower Child and CycleBar, according to a release.
Houston-based Capital Retail Properties, in partnership with Wile Interests Inc., is developing Market at Houston Heights at 1533 North Shepherd. Michael Hsu Office of Architecture, the firm behind Heights Mercantile, is overseeing the design. The project is expected to deliver in the fourth quarter.
The Retail Strategy's Greg Stanislawski represented Salon Lofts, which will occupy a 4,200 SF space on the second floor. This is the retailer's third location in the Houston area.
Vanguard Spine & Sport, which specializes in collaborative care in a variety of injury areas, will take 3K SF on the second floor. This deal represents an expansion of the Memorial-based practice. M+L Dental will open a 2,200 SF space. Xite Realty's Patrick Valentz represented both tenants.
Anderson Smith and Connor Lynch represented the developer in-house for all three deals.
Announced in late 2017, Market at Houston Heights seeks to capitalize on the popularization of mixed-use developments, following the success of projects like Heights Mercantile in Houston.
The project will feature a 3K SF central plaza with seating that will separate the 26K SF two-story main building from a one-story, 4K SF building. It is close to popular spots such as the Heights Bier Garten, Snooze Eatery, Superica, La Lucha and a new, two-story H-E-B grocery store.
