Alzheimer's Association's New Digs
The Alzheimer’s Association opened its new home, a 16k SF former bank branch at 6055 S. Loop E. The facility triples the local chapter’s available space, allowing it to expand its services and assist more clients. Above, the development team celebrates the grand opening—Eric Canestorp, Alzheimer’s Association’s John Harris, Gensler’s Kent Lew and Amanda Meininger, Alzheimer’s Association’s Richard Elbein (and his dog Judy), Gensler’s Carl Bahr, and Linbeck’s Sean Sachtleben and Ed Lowe. The design team replaced large segments of the former parking lot with lawns and landscaping, and converted the former drive-through into an open-air pavilion.
