Newly Renovated Class-A Midtown Office Lands First Tenant
On the eve of Bisnow's The Future of Midtown event, Transwestern's David Baker (a panelist) announced a major deal at Central Square, the newly renovated Class-A office space hosting us this morning in Midtown. Powers Brown, an architectural firm, is set to move into the building at 2100 Travis.
The firm will occupy nearly 12k SF of the 280k SF of office space. The building also features 20k SF of first-floor retail being leased by The Weitzman Group. "We chose the Central Square project because we saw an opportunity to yet again be pioneers in an emerging urban location,” said Powers Brown's Jeffrey Brown. Transwestern VP Evelyn Ward negotiated on behalf of the building owner, Claremont Properties.
