Parkway Completes Renovation For Phoenix Tower In Greenway Plaza
After a three-month renovation, Parkway Property Investment unveiled the new Sky Terrace on the ninth floor of Phoenix Tower at 3200 Southwest Freeway, Greenway Plaza.
The upgrades include a new epoxy coating for the reflection pool, the replacement of existing grass with artificial turf, the incorporation of new seating areas with assorted lawn games and the addition of Adirondack chairs to the lounging options. The Sky Terrance is accessed through the interior Sky Lobby, which has a modern, fast-casual café.
"The Phoenix Tower Sky Terrace is one of several signature outdoor gathering spaces that are hallmarks of the Greenway Plaza campus," Parkway Director of Leasing Eric Siegrist said in a release. "These carefully considered improvements were designed to make the Sky Terrace an even more attractive venue for tenant gatherings, special occasions, dining, or relaxing and recharging."
Situated at Buffalo Speedway and Interstate 69, Phoenix Tower reflects ongoing expansion efforts in Greenway Plaza. Later this year, a new eight-story, 247K SF garage annex with 600 spaces is expected to be delivered with direct access to The Hub, the restaurant and amenity core of the 11-building complex.
CommonGrounds, a San Diego-based coworking operator, signed a 28K SF lease to be integrated into The Hub in November. According to the company site, the facility is opening this summer.
Parkway purchased the 34-story Phoenix Tower building in 2012 for $123.8M.
