A tech company is swapping buildings for its Houston headquarters in the Westchase District.

Honeywell, a global software solution firm, inked a 114K SF lease at CityWestPlace at 2103 CityWest Blvd., Houston, according to a release by Parkway. The company will relocate about 750 employees to Building 1 from the Honeywell Building at 1250 West Sam Houston Parkway South later this year.

CityWestPlace is composed of four buildings totaling 1.4M SF, and is managed by Parkway Property Investments LLC. Building 1 is a six-floor, 306K SF office building.

Outgrowing its current space, Honeywell selected CityWestPlace due to its high-quality workspace and accessibility to a range of amenities, the release said. The campus has three dining options, two fitness centers and a host of recreational options such as a soccer field, an outdoor track, a sand volleyball court, an indoor basketball court, a horseshoe pit and a bocce ball court.

"Parkway is thrilled to welcome Honeywell, a company with an extensive history and acclaimed reputation for creating exceptional products, solving complex problems through software solutions, and implementing cutting-edge technologies in a variety of industries including oil and gas, to CityWestPlace," Parkway Senior Leasing Manager J.P. Hutcheson said in the release.

CBRE's Rich Pancioli and John Morris represented the tenant. Parkway's JP Hutcheson represented the landlord in-house.

In February, Bill.com, a California-based digital business payment company, signed a 25K SF office lease at CityWestPlace. The company will initially operate out of the TechSpace coworking offices at the campus, according to the Westchase District.
