Down at the Rodeo

As the Rodeo came to an end this weekend, we rounded up two more real estate pros who dedicated themselves to the event. Moody Rambin SVP Brad Kovach (who manages a 5.1M SF Houston portfolio) came by his love of the HLSR from growing up in Cleveland, Texas, where the Livestock Show was a ticket to college for many of his friends. He’s been involved as a volunteer for the last seven years, serving on the Go Texan Committee and the Transportation Committee (above, he’s coordinating the tram system). Brad loves working with fellow volunteers; an Italian client once told him that such a massive undertaking relying almost entirely on volunteers could never happen in Europe.

NAI Houston’s Jake Wilkinson (left) has been involved in the Rodeo for 16 years, ever since he received a $12k scholarship for showing animals in high school. It’s no wonder he enjoys helping kids pursue their interests in their respected agricultural fields. Jake recently wrapped up a deal in the Cline Shale, selling over 2,400 acres adjacent to the BNSF and UP railroads seven miles east of Sweetwater.
