Brookfield's Charitable Work Lands it a Private Concert
Brookfield and RBC Capital enjoyed some special entertainment last week, hosting the band Of Monsters and Men at the Petroleum Club. Only about 100 people were invited for the intimate concert, which raised money for Grammy in the Schools, a music education program. Pictured are Brookfield’s Tara Golden, Of Monsters and Men’s Arnar Rósenkranz Hilmarsson and Ragnar Þórhallsson, Brookfield’s Dennis Friedrich, the band’s Kristján Páll Kristjánsson, Brookfield’s Paul Frazier, Of Monsters and Men’s Brynjar Leifsson and Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir, and Grammy Foundation’s Scott Goldman.
Here are Dennis and Paul again with Cushman & Wakefield’s John Pruitt. Dennis (CEO of the global office division of Brookfield Property Partners) is on the Grammy Foundation corporate advisory committee. Brookfield supports the charity in Houston, LA and New York. Here in Houston, it provides financial support to Jefferson Davis High School, Austin High School, Wheatley High School and Reagan High School.
