Levy Park Renovation Begins Today
The Upper Kirby District is beginning construction on Levy Park today. The $10M project will update the community garden and dog park and create an event lawn and performance pavilion, children's play area and activity lawn with outdoor games and an interactive water feature. Construction will take 12 months, the Houston Chronicle reports. The Office of James Burnett is overseeing the park’s design. Midway has been steadily developing its Kirby Grove mixed-use project around the park, including the Avenue Grove multifamily community and One Grove Street office project. [Chron]
