Burlington Coat Factory Announces Sugar Land Location
Yesterday, Burlington Stores announced plans to open a new 50k SF location in Sugar Land. The store will anchor University Commons Shopping Center, near the University of Houston’s Sugar Land campus and across from Texas Instruments' new HQ. Burlington plans to hire 50 to 100 employees at the new location, which is set to open in spring 2017, reports the Houston Business Journal.
University Commons is a $45M development by Houston-based Vista Equities Group. It'll include 110k SF of retail, 40k SF of office, three restaurant pad sites and two pad sites for banks. It's designed by Boucher Design Group's Marc Boucher. [HBJ]
