Award-Winning Historic Heights Building Welcomes Lively Pub
The Heights General Store, in the historic Harold’s Heights building, will be converted into a lively bar. Owner Alli Jarret told CultureMap the downstairs market of the multilevel space never took off. The building was first converted in 2013 from a former men’s clothing store to include space for retailers and restaurants, like Torchy's Tacos.
The pub slated to open this summer will be named Harold’s Tap Room. It will feature draft wine, craft beer and cocktails. Executive Chef Antoine Ware will stay on board to provide small plates, such as charcuterie boards and personal pizzas. Harold’s Heights is a finalist for this year's Landmark Award.
