Nate Newman’s Woodlands Story
For such a dynamic market, investment sales in The Woodlands are surprisingly rare. Marcus & Millichap's Nate Newman says this is because it is a master-planned community and aside from the development company, many of the owners are institutional or long-term holders. Nate was born and raised in The Woodlands, and his family has been active in real estate there since 1973, a year before the dedication of the iconic development. (When asked what The Woodlands was like before all the building, he answered, “Less traffic and more trees.”) He’s now specializing in retail and office investment sales in the surrounding areas and is a month away from being married to Marifer (pictured here with Nate).
