This New England Patriots owner got his start working for his father-in-law's box manufacturing company. Eventually Bob Kraft made enough money in the stock market to start International Forest Products, buy his father-in-law's company, and later buy the Patriots. Bob had been a long-time fan of the Patriots, but when he bought the team for $172M in 1995, it was one of the worst-run teams in the NFL.
Today it's one of the winningest teams of the millennium, worth $3.2B. Bob looks at star quarterback Tom Brady like a son, and fought hard to keep him from serving a four-game suspension for Deflategate. Bob is also known as one of Boston's most generous philanthropists, donating more than $100M over the past three decades.
