Rick Caruso

California man through and through--born in LA, graduated from USC and received a law degree from Pepperdine. Rick Caruso began his career as a real estate lawyer but soon found he wanted to try his own hand in the industry. Now renowned as a shopping center guru, he attracts millions of guests each year with his movie-like developments. Caruso Affiliated recently completed the transformation of a 1920s former Masonic Lodge into a creative office and retail space--CBRE moved in just this month--complete with 5-star personal concierge services for tenants.

Other projects include an overhaul of downtown Pacific Palisades along Swarthmore Avenue to make the area more walkable and a 19-story luxury residential/retail tower at 333 La Cienega, near the Beverly Center with construction slated to begin 2017. The SoCal icon also served as president of the LA Police Commission and commissioner for the LA Dept. of Water and Power.
