In 1967, Robert and Bruce opened their first home community in rural Pennsylvania. Their company, Toll Brothers, is now worth $6.8B and is one of the leading builders of luxury suburban and retirement communities in California, Florida, New York and 16 other states.

In 2010, Robert stepped down as CEO, but remains as board chairman while Bruce is the vice chairman. Both brothers are the publically traded company’s biggest shareholders, are active philanthropists and live in Miami with their children and grandchildren. Bruce and his wife regularly donate to Seeds of Peace—a camp that connects Arab, Israeli, Indian and Pakistani teens and fosters conflict resolution—while Robert raises thousands for the American Red Cross and the American Cancer Society.
