Harry Triguboff is the son of Jewish emigrants from Russia who fled the country during the rise of Lenin. He was born and raised in China until he was 13, when his family moved to Australia.
Triguboff started in real estate in the early 1960s after building a single apartment building in a Sydney suburb. He has since been responsible for the construction of over 65,000 apartments and some of Australia’s most prominent skyscrapers — especially in Sydney’s central business district and in the seaside Gold Coast surfing haven. He developed World Tower, Sydney’s tallest residential building, and keeps a penthouse apartment there. — Scott Klocksin
