Langham London Strives For Peak Luxury With New Suites And Residences
The Langham has reconfigured its iconic building to embrace a more residential style. The hotel added 115 guest rooms, including 25 new suites, and five new residences. The new rooms face Portland Place, with views of the BBC and All Souls Church buildings.
The new suites and residences will be attended by an extensive team of butlers assisting with guests' personal requests, from unpacking suitcases and colour-coding clothes in wardrobes, to personalising pillows and room temperature, and organising itineraries. Foodstuff from Selfridges Foodhall will be stocked for long-stay guests.
The Langham, London, has been increasing its luxury offerings in recent years with bespoke service, butler service and a private kitchen menu in partnership with Chez Roux.
The newest project is spearheaded by designers Richmond International—the same team the Langham used to add the exclusive Regent Wing in March 2015, the Langham Club Lounge, which opened in June 2015, and the Sterling Suite created for the hotel’s 150th anniversary in 2015, which was London’s most expensive suite ever when it was created.
