'Professional Cribs' Co-Living Concept Launches In London
Professional Cribs, a co-living concept for young professionals, launched its first co-living property in London this week. The Cribs brand is also behind student accommodation provider Student Cribs, which has over 180 houses at 12 universities.
Professional Cribs are aimed at 22- to 30-year-old professionals, renting as a group or individually. The fully furnished period properties are renovated and decorated by interior designers. Social space is prioritised, with large open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas. Professional Cribs aims to combine the cosiness of a classic London home, well-known and loved by many with the high service levels of institutional landlords.
Professional Cribs are inclusive of bills, cleaning and gardening. Additional services such as laundry can be added to the contract.
4 Kingsley Ave, West Ealing, is the first of eight Professional Cribs in the pipeline, with the remaining properties undergoing renovation ready for January 2017. All are five- or six-bedroom period properties along the Crossrail route.
Priced at £210/person per week, 4 Kingsley Ave is a six-bedroom Edwardian semi-detached house in West Ealing.
Professional Cribs is the latest in a flurry of London dorms for adults. In a city that is so expensive, the concept allows young people exposure to the capital that they wouldn't otherwise have.
