Kraft Heinz Relocates Europe HQ To The Shard
The Kraft Heinz Co will relocate its European and UK headquarters from Hayes, Middlesex, to the iconic Shard tower in central London. The company has agreed to a 12-year lease for over 38k SF on levels 20 and 21.
Kraft Heinz is relocating to central London to strengthen the culture of the business, which is based on meritocracy, speed and efficiency.
The Shard was chosen because of the location and wealth of nearby amenities, both inside the building and in the surrounding neighbourhood. The workspace is being designed to facilitate better communication and faster decision-making. Fit-out is due to start early in the new year.
Kraft Heinz is the third company to relocate to The Shard from outside London, following Foresight and Sage. The building now has 32 tenants across a range of business sectors, including energy, technology, fashion, finance, education and healthcare. Only 59k SF remains available, which means London Bridge Quarter is now 96% let.
JLL and Knight Frank are the leasing agents for The Shard; Kraft Heinz was advised by CBRE.
