Temesek's Mayfair Office Hits Market For £135M
Temasek's Mayfair office at 23 King St has been quietly put on the market with an asking price of £135M. Singapore’s state fund has occupied the two top floors of the building, owned by Standard Life Investments, for three years, according to the Evening Standard. The fund is surrounded by similar concerns, including Balyasny Asset Management, the hedge fund run by trader Dmitry Balyasny.
Temasek boasts a portfolio with £137B worth of assets invested on behalf of Singapore around the world, including the new 22 Bishopsgate skyscraper under development.
23 King St is being marketed by Savills. A Chinese buyer is rumoured to be interested in the property. [ES]
