London's Red Phone Boxes Get New Life As Repair Shops
The UK’s iconic red phone boxes are being revived and repurposed to house teensy repair shops for mobile devices. Lovefone launched “the world’s tiniest repair shops” in a disused phone box next to the Mitre Pub on Greenwich High Road last week, and has plans for six more throughout London. Within the next 18 months, the company wants to have 35 locations in London.
The wee shops offer free mobile charging as well as phone and iPad repair.
