Restaurants Gobble Up Space At SouthGate Bath
Aviva Investors and British Land signed three new restaurants at SouthGate Bath. Thaikhun, a Thai street food chain, secured 3,700 SF with a 25-year lease; Comptoir Libanias, a Lebanese and eastern Mediterranean restaurant, took 4k SF on a 20-year lease; and Absurd Bird, which cooks up American Deep South recipes, inked 3k feet on a 20-year lease.
The three restaurants will open in September and October this year on Newark and St. Lawrence streets, in SouthGate’s newly redeveloped Little SouthGate dining sector, according to PropertyMall. The area will have glazed façades and canopies providing shaded outdoor seating for customers.
Currently, SouthGate’s dining choices include Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Prezzo and Graze.
British Land and Aviva Investors are in discussion with a number of potential operators on the final restaurant to be let at Little SouthGate.
