24 Women Leading UK Real Estate In 2024

In the five years since Bisnow began running its UK Women Leading Real Estate lists and event series, we’ve spotlighted brilliant women at the top of the property tree — rising stars, amazing innovators who fly under the radar and those championing diversity in all its forms.

After consulting with more than 100 real estate professionals from across the industry, we present this year's list of the 24 most influential women in UK real estate today.

But for 2024, we decided to revisit our first iteration to see where we started and where we've gone.

In many ways, there’s a lot to be positive about. There are now three listed real estate CEOs compared to one in 2018. The major brokerages have their first female UK CEO. There are female business founders, and some of the country’s largest real estate fund managers are now woman-run.

But the numbers in question also highlight how far there is to go. Three female chief executives from a cohort of more than 25 listed companies is not enough by most measures. And women remain in the minority at the board level among the UK’s major brokerages, investors and developers.

At Bisnow’s annual Women Leading Real Estate event on 28 November, many of these industry stars will be in attendance, discussing the state of the market, providing invaluable career advice and debating how CRE can continue its quest to become more diverse. We'd love you to join us.
