All-In For Children
The Men’s Guild of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is nearing its 10-year goal to raise $1M through its Texas Hold ’Em Poker Tournament. The ninth-annual tournament is slated for March 22. According to VP Michael Udell, partner at McKenna Long & Aldridge, this year’s event, chaired by Andrew Forchelli, Sr EVP at Hub International, boasts a lofty space befitting of the ambitious goal: the top floor of the US Bank Tower. OUE President Richard Stockton tells us that, “As newcomers to the LA market by virtue of our acquisition of the US Bank Tower in June of last year, we’re eager to be involved in worthy causes such as this to support the local community and its children.”
Cushman & Wakefield Senior Director Erik Larson is the president of MGCHLA, composed of over 200 members from throughout the LA Basin who primarily work in the commercial RE biz. Key sponsors of this year's event include Worthe Real Estate Development, Hub International, Martin Bros. / Marcowall, Charles Dunn, Johnson Capital, Rising Realty Partners, McKenna Long & Aldridge, Panattoni Development, Regency Centers, HBC, AEG Global Partnerships, Citizens Bank, Merrill Lynch, ProLogis, LBA Realty, CBRE, Allen Lund, Illuminar LLC, Allen Matkins, Chubb Insurance, Glaser Weil, KPMG, Holwick Constructors, Inc., Swett & Crawford, Pinnacle Communication and Pinnacle Contracting. Transportation is sponsored by Uber, and downtown hotspot SUGARFISH is catering. Capacity is limited to 200 and the tourney always draws a full house. Tickets or contributions: www.mgchla.com.
