Industrial Behemoth
Seventh Street Developmentbreaks ground tomorrow on Phase 3 of Mission 71 Business Park, a 1.5M SF industrial complex in Pomona. It will include the largest industrial building constructed in the San Gabriel Valley in three years.(We assume the need is for everyone orderingonline before Amazon is taxed.)
The 245k SF building, the first to rise in Phase 3, will houseKittrich Corp, a manufacturer of household products thats relocating from La Mirada. Seventh Street principal Craig Furniss (snapped at a building in an earlier phase with Janna Cowan and Michele Bancalari) tells us demand is expected to outpace new supply in the San Gabriel Valley, especially for Class-A, freestanding industrial buildings for sale or lease.
Kittrich's new HQ will be ready by year's end. Phase 3 also includes buildings of 42k, 51k, and 114k SF, as the photo from our Bisnow dirigible shows. (It also proves the cast of Sesame Street lives on the roof of industrial buildings.) The business park is located at Mission Boulevard near the interchange of the 71, 10, and 57 freeways. Seventh Street also built the San Gabriel Valleys previous largest building: the 655k SF manufacturing facility in Irwindale for Huy Fong Foods, makers of Sriracha hot chili sauce.
