En route to Las Vegas for ICSC last week, we ran into David Sheldon of Perkowitz + Ruth Architects, who’s used to meeting people exactly this way. As global business development chief for the 200-person firm, he’s on the road (or should we say in the skies?) a third of the time, including to their office in Shanghai. Around here, his firm’s involved with The Bloc in downtown LA, The Lot in West Hollywood and The Pike in Long Beach.
Here’s David with Peterson Cos’ Taylor Chess at the Aria during ICSC. When back home in Marina Del Rey, and not surfing alongside dolphins (and recently a 40-foot whale) or playing with his young daughter Sadie, he’s involved with his wife in putting on concert series for as many as 90 guests in their spacious condo. A recent one: four Dutch compositions from the World War II era.
