Park Hyatt Hotel To Come To Oceanwide Plaza
It looks like a luxury Park Hyatt hotel will make its debut in downtown LA's $1B Oceanwide Plaza.
It would be the first Park Hyatt in LA.
Hyatt Hotels just inked the deal, the Wall Street Journal reports. Beijing's Oceanwide Holdings Co is building Oceanwide Plaza.
The nearly 1.5M SF project is being built on a 4.6-acre site at 1101 South Flower St. It includes three high-rise residential towers with 503 condos, 183 hotel rooms and a 700-foot-tall LED display.
Oceanwide Plaza is being designed by CallisonRTKL. Kennedy Wilson is the leasing agent for Oceanwide Plaza’s 153k SF of retail.
It is expected to be completed in 2018. [WSJ]
