New Plans for Park Fifth Released
MacFarlane Partners will present new plans for the Park Fifth site in DTLA to the neighborhood council's PLUM committee today, according to Building Los Angeles. The project, which has been in the making for more than a year, will consist of more than 600k SF of development. Building LA reports today's presentation will include the developer pitching 660 apartments and about 14k SF of commercial space.
The proposal is much smaller than the 1.2M SF project originally designed by KPF earlier this year (shown above). Building LA says the new project is being designed by Ankrom Moisan Architects. The two-building development is located near Bunker Hill in the Financial District, and is across the street from the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel and Pershing Square. Construction is expected to begin next year.
