Mixed-Use Residential Project Going Up In Beverly Hills
Work has begun in Beverly Hills on the first mixed-use project in the nation designed by Beijing's MAD Architects.
The project is called 8600 Wilshire Blvd.
It will include a three- to five-story structure with 18 condos above ground-floor retail. The building is reminiscent of a hilltop village built on a green wall façade, according to Urbanize LA.
It has a five-story street wall on Wilshire Boulevard with three-level townhouses on Charleville Boulevard.
The development is scheduled to open in 2017. [ULA]
