Find Out What The Proposed Jefferson And La Cienega Development Would Look Like
Carmel Partners has revealed proposed plans for an 11-acre mixed-use complex near the Expo Line's La Cienega/Jefferson Station.
The project would include about 200k SF of office space; 1,218 residential units; and 100k SF of ground-level space for shops, restaurants and a grocery store.
The development would replace an old radio broadcast facility, according to Urbanize LA. There also would be landscaped courtyards, other open space and a .68-acre park.
TCA Architects, Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB) and Mia Lehrer + Associates are all designing the development with SCB overseeing a proposed 29-story tower.
Approval for the project is being appealed by the La Cienega Heights Association, which is critical of the project’s potential impact on local traffic. [ULA]
