Japanese Conglomerate Aims To Build High-Rise In The Financial District
The U.S. arm of Japan's Mitsui Fudosan wants to build a high-rise in DTLA's Financial District across the street from Whole Foods Market at 788 South Grand Ave.
The 40-story, mixed-use tower would be 467 feet high with 409 units built above 7,329 SF of ground-floor commercial space along the 8th Street corridor, Urbanize LA reports.
Existing parking would be torn down to make way for a six-level, 487-car garage.
Developer Mitsui Fudosan already has plans to build a 42-story high-rise in the area at 8th and Figueroa streets.
