Construction For Hollywood Park Redevelopment Project On Tap

Placeholder

Two of Hollywood Park's freeway signs were recently removed, indicating construction should soon begin on redeveloping the former racetrack into a huge mixed-use community.

The project will include a 300-key hotel, 3,000 residential units, stores and restaurants, with 25 acres set aside for parks. Learn more about the Hollywood Park project from Wilson Meany director of development and retail Greg Whitney at our Annual Retail & Mixed-Use Forum on Nov. 3.

The development will be capped off by the more than $2B, 70,000-seat stadium, being designed by HKS for the LA Rams.

The stadium is expected to open in 2019.

The nearly 300-acre property is larger than Disneyland, Urbanize LA reports.

It's being developed by Wilson Meany and Stockbridge Capital Group.

The architects for the huge undertaking include Hart Howerton, Quatro Design Group, EDAW, Baldauf Catton Von Eckartsberg and Mia Lehrer & Associates. [ULA]
